The plot,with a long story short is his son works for the CIA,and lands up in a little trouble in Russia. I can't express enough the action in this movie,and must have cost a mint to make.It certainly won't let you down by any stretch of the imagination.

It's a father like son movie,and this movie also opens the door for many more Die Hard flicks down the road.With these movies it's like enjoy one of them,and you'll enjoy them all. Some of the best movies in regards to action ever made.
